...And all that glitters is gold

Every year, baby. Madsen on the write-in every single year.

I'll do a real update tomorrow with my Jay-Z review. For now, let me just run down the things that are important to me.

The Mighty Hornets bested the Pistons last night on the lanky shoulders of Hilton Armstrong and Brandon Bass. In Chandler and West's absence, these guys collectively notched 29 points with 16 rebounds. Turns out that B-Bass isn't quite the Fat Piece of Shit I made him out to be, and Armstrong's curly-cue hair part is our own rabbit's foot. And this isn't against just any frontcourt--it's against Rasheed Wallace and Antonio McDyess. Likewise, CP3 put up 20 points with 13 assists. Although he didn't do the best job defending Chauncey Billups, I like this mean streak he's showing. He got called for a phantom foul against Billups in the third quarter and protested enough to get a technical called. Five minutes later, he sold a bump by falling down and got a ticky-tack foul called against Billups. And he does it all with a sneer.

Yao: 26.4 points, 9.5 rebounds per game. Call him Hilary Duff, because dude's growing into himself nicely.

Being able to make "Lizzie McGuire" jokes at this cat's expense is almost worth being in Good Charlotte.

Celtics 114, Pacers 88. Where did that come from?

Pace?
